The Usalama Children's Center is located in Ongata Rongai, a suburb of Kenya's capital city Nairobi.

Many of Usalama's children are AIDS orphans from the Nairobi slums and some of them are also HIV positive.

Accordingly these children need a lot of hygiene, medical care, nutrition and the staff team's attention.

As the prices of food and energy have exploded in recent years, a reasonable wage for the employees is existentially important!

Meanwhile, our children's home in Kenya has celebrated its eigth birthday and we are deeply impressed and grateful for God's faithfulness and care.

From humble beginnings it has become a lively, happy home for 18 children aged 6-17 years.

Some of the children are still infants and toddlers and accordingly need much care and attention.

Some of the children are in the infant nursery and pre-school group, some are in primary school or secondary school and the eldest attends a boarding school.
